Shaurya's POV
As usual, I woke up at 6:00, freshened up and went to the gym. Soon after, Sumedh & Udaivir joined. By 7:45 AM came to my room and got ready for the hospital. Went downstairs for breakfast and saw that everyone was present. However, no one started eating despite telling them 100 times, no one listens and only starts eating when I go downstairs. The reason they gave was that most of the time I stay outside for work purposes, and breakfast is the only time when we all can eat together, so I stopped asking them. Half of the time, Ma Sa sends the lunch and dinner to the hospital.
The breakfast was simple for me, made by Chachi Sa today, a vegetable sandwich + paneer filling with masala chai. We ate peacefully and walked out of the palace towards my car, but were stopped by Sumedh & Samriddhi as the driver was on leave, they asked me to drop at the college. Sumedh is studying finance, and Samriddhi is studying fashion design, although this is their last year of college.
On the way to their college, Dhruv, my PA, called me to inform me that the meeting with the German client has been fixed for 11 AM, so the operation for one of the patients will be delayed by almost 2 hours, as the patient's blood pressure is also under observation. He disconnected the call after informing.
As soon as I got off the call, I asked my siblings how their studies are going. They told me it's going well. However, Samriddhi said yesterday she wants to talk about something, so I asked her.
She hesitantly said, "Bhai sa, kal humare professor ne bataya ki 2 din ka ek tour hai Delhi mein, Ms Nandini is coming for a visit." (Bhai sa, professor informed us about 2 days of tour in Delhi)
I asked her whose Ms Nandini is. She said with sparkling eyes, "Bhai sa woh one of the best Fashion Designers hai worldwide aur Investor bhi, kal aa rhe hai ek workshop ke liye, aur shayad finance ka bhi kuch hoga, toh hum soch rhe the ki agar hum aur Sumedh jaa sakte hai toh" (Bhai sa, she's coming tomorrow for workshop, and there will be something for Finance as well, so we were thinking if Sumedh & I can go there)
I have heard about her a little, but the way Riddhi mentioned it seems like she's an important person. And it is expected to hear those details from Riddhi as Medh clutches his introverted personality as his second skin, whereas Riddhi is a bit outgoing.
Coming out of my thought, I told her, "Hum aise akele toh aap dono ko nahi chhod sakte par Rehaan abhi Delhi mein hai shayad toh hum ek baari unko puchh lete hai phir aap dono ko confirm karenge". (I can't let you two go alone, maybe Rehaan is in Delhi, so let me talk with him, and I will confirm with you)
They both nodded with excitement. I dropped them off at college and reached the hospital in the next 20 minutes.
Nandini's POV
I woke up to a call, and without looking at the ID, I picked up and hearing the voice, a small smile touched my lips, and it was none other than my dearest brother.
"Hello!" I said, and on the other hand, my brother said, "Hello, my princess, good morning"
"Good morning, Bhai", I said. And I came back to my senses from the sleep with the next sentence from my brother.
"Princess, you have a flight in the next 1 hour, so you shall wake up quickly and get ready, or else you will be late to reach India."
My eyes fluttered open, and I saw that it was already 10 AM in the morning. I slept late last night as I came back from the fashion show late. I have been in Paris for the last 1 week.
I told my brother, "I will get ready and call back once I am settled in the private jet," and my brother agreed and said, "Bye, princess".
I also said "Bye!" and got ready quickly. As usual, I wore black chic attire.
I settled into the jet and messaged my brother that I would call him once I reached Delhi. I miss my brother, as most of the time I spent my time with him, we are our only family.
My PA Ranjiv, who's also kinda my best friend and more of a brother, came with a cup of coffee for both of us, settled down across the seat and gave me the brief of my schedule for the next 72 hours.
I have known Ranjiv for the last 4 years, since the company started. He's a jolly person, he's an orphan, his parents died in an accident when he was 20, studying overseas. And he treats me as his younger sister. Despite everything, he doesn't forget to smile and bring his light energy.
After a good 10 hours of flight, we reached Delhi, from there I got into the car, and of course my brother ensured my safety, and there were 5 cars of the security personnel. And I don't really complain about that, as I can understand his concern after the last time someone tried to attack during my last visit to Gujarat. Although sometimes my brother gets overly protective, I don't really mind because I do the same.
I reached the apartment and freshened up, yes, I have an apartment, as I come to Delhi often, so it is better to have an apartment, as I don't really like to stay at a hotel, but work demands.
I cooked simple daal chawal and ate with Ranjiv, and we went to our rooms for a good rest, which is well needed. And the next day is going to be full of tasks. Yeah, I did call my brother as soon as I landed in India.
Shaurya's POV
Finally got out of work by 8 PM, and once I reached my cabin, I saw the message from Rehaan that "Yes, send both of them, I will pick them up from the airport and take them to the college and will take good care of them, so don't worry much, Rana Sa".
I just sent a thumbs up and went to the car. By the time I reached home, it was already 9 PM, and I saw that everyone was in the living room. I went there, and Ma sa got me a glass of water and asked me if I had the food which she sent for dinner, to which I nodded, saying yes.
Then I informed Riddhi & Medh that tomorrow morning by 9 AM, they should be ready for the airport, and Rehaan will pick them up from the airport & will be with them for the next 2 days. Then I got up from the couch, saying good night to everyone and went to the room.
I freshened up, changed into the trousers and a t-shirt, then went to the balcony, after sometime Neon, my dog, came. (American Pit Bull Terrier breed)
Most of the time, he stays in my room only, goes outside, plays with Aryan & Aadhya, then again comes back to the room.
They are coming back tomorrow from my Aunt's home. They love to be around me whenever I am home, and I also enjoy spending time with them.
Soon after, I went to bed and drifted to sleep; I don't know when.
I woke up a little earlier today, as Riddhi and Medh will be going to Delhi today, so I will drop them off at the airport and then go to the hospital.
I went downstairs by 7:30 AM, and everyone was in the dining area. We finished breakfast, and by 8:15, we left for the airport. On the way, I told them that they need to call me once they arrive at Delhi airport, to which they nodded.
After a few minutes, Medh said, "Bhai sa, aap bhi chal sakte hai kya humare sath, pata hai Rehaan bhai honge par phir bhi agar aap chalte to-" (Bhai sa, you could have also come with us, I know Rehaan Bhai will be there, but still-)
This is not really unexpected from Medh as he doesn't feel comfortable with anyone except his family, and whenever he goes out, some elder from the family would go.
I called my PA and asked him to free up my schedule for tomorrow, as I can go to Delhi to accompany them, to which he agreed without any further questions.
Then I told Medh, "Aaj aap log jaiye, hum kal subah 10 baaje tak pohoch jayenge, kyunki aaj kuch meeting hai jo hume urgently attend karna padega" (You guys go today, I will join you tomorrow by 10 AM as I have some urgent meetings today)
They both nodded, and I dropped them off at the airport and left for the hospital.
