Author's POV

The Suryavanshis arrived at the location of Riddhi's best friend Rittika's sister's wedding. Rittika's father, Abhinav, greeted the royals as they arrived. Every member of the royal family was present, including the well-known bachelor Mr Shaurya, who attracted the girls' attention without being asked. However, no one ever dared to approach him because of his serious demeanour and the fact that he is the King.

Nandini also showed up shortly after. She was greeted by Rittika's brother, Utsav. And without any effort, she attracted the attention of every guest following the royals. Not to mention, she attracted the interest of every member of the royal family. She was so used to this that she didn't really notice anyone. So she went straight to Abhinav, who was standing next to Rittika's sister, Rohini.

"Maaf karna, Kaka thodi der ho gaya hume." (Sorry, Uncle, I am a little late)
"Nahi bitiya, koi baat nahi, abhi 10 minute mein shadi ki rituals start hone wala hai" Then she handed the gifts to Rohini. Abhinav already asked her not to bring any gifts, as she already took care of all the outfits for the wedding functions, but Nandini being Nandini. (No, it's fine, the wedding will start in 10 minutes)
Without any further discussion, Abhinav let her sit on the couch opposite the mandap. But before he could have introduced her to the Royals, someone called, so he left.

To everyone's surprise, after a few minutes, Aryan came to her and

"Mami sa" 

Shaurya's POV

We arrived at the wedding venue even though I didn't want to come, but Dada being stubborn, so I had to come.

Mr Shekhawat welcomed us, and after meeting his daughter, we sat on the couch. After some time, I saw someone come with a lot of guards, although at first I couldn't see the face of that person, as too many guards were behind that person, but as soon as I saw the face, a sudden happiness washed over my face & I was thanking my Dada once for being stubborn.
Her eyes, her face & and that lip, I wonder how it'll feel to bite. 
Huh!.... What?... Why am I thinking like a creep? Uhh! But those lips do look very biteable. Looking at her face, I don't mind anything anymore, honestly.

Although she didn't really look around. Guess she's used to too many eyes on her, so she doesn't even mind anymore. She sat on the couch near the couch I was sitting on. I could see her serene face, calm and peaceful as snow. Yes, she's just like snow. My Snow.
Just as I was drowning in my thoughts, I saw Aryan walking up to her, and Maa sa was about to go behind him, but I stopped her. Maa sa didn't ask me why I stopped her, but the question was visible on her face.
Aryan walked up to her and called her "Mami sa". What??? Mami sa?? Who taught him that?
But the look on my Snow's face was so adorable, hearing him calling her that. She was confused, shocked, and this was the first time I saw a flicker of expression present on her face. She looked at her PA in confusion, but her PA's eyes were about to pop out of the socket. And my family, too, was so shocked. Then Aryan extended his like asking her to pick him up. And she picked him up carefully and gently.
"Aap mami sa", Aryan said, (You are Mami sa)
"Bacche...hum...nahi hai aapke mami sa", Snow said, and hearing that, he was on the verge of crying, seeing that she held him a little closer and patting his back (Dear...I...am not your Mami Sa)
"Bacche aapko kisne bola hum aapke mami sa hain?...... Aur aapka naam kya hai?..... Aapke parents kaha hai?" she asked gently (Who told you that I'm your Mami Sa? What's your name? Where are your parents?)
"Aap toh khoobsurat hai bohot toh aap hi hai humari mami sa aur hum Aryan. Humare maa sa waha hai", he said and hearing that, she chuckled suddenly and seeing that, my heart went for a little vacation. (You are pretty, so you are my Mami Sa. Maa sa is sitting there.)
"Aapka bohot shukriya humari taarif ke liye, aap bhi bohot pyaare lag rhe hai" There was a small smile on her lips. She looks so good with that smile. (Thank you for the compliment. You are also looking handsome)

".....Hum aapke mami sa toh nahi hai, aur aap agar hume mami sa bulayenge toh aapke mama sa ko bohot bura lagega, toh aap hume kuch aur bula sakte hai" No, why would I feel bad, in fact I would love to make you his forever mami sa, Snow. 
(...I am not your Mami Sa, though, and if you will call me Mami Sa, then your Mama Sa will feel bad. So you can call me something else)

"Phir hum aapko kya bulaye, hume toh pata nahi", Aryan said. (Then what shall I call you?)

Before she could respond, Medh appeared out of nowhere. Why is he there? What is he talking about? Moreover, he doesn't even talk to strangers. 
Agh!! He has totally blocked the view. 

Author's POV

Suddenly, a well-built, handsome man approached Nandini, but Shaurya couldn't see his face properly as there was a pillar and Medh was also standing in front of Nandini in between. Aryan also came back and sat on Shaurya's lap.

He saw Nandini hugging that guy; he gave her a twirl. She hugged him for almost a minute, and seeing that Shaurya almost got a mini heart attack just when he was thinking that he would make her Aryan's mami sa, he found her in another man's arms.

Then Mr Shekhawat came towards Shaurya along with the Man & Nandini. He looked up and saw a well-built, handsome man with green eyes. And just when his heart was sinking into the deep ocean, Abhinav introduced him.
"Rana sa yeh Nandini bitiya and inka bhai sa Augustus Barone. Hum Nandini bitiya ke NGO mein kaam karte hai" Shaurya took a breath of relief. Then he stood up and shook hands with Augustus. (Rana Sa, this is Nandini & her brother, Augustus Barone. I work at her NGO)
"Hi, it's nice meeting you, Mr Barone" On that, Augustus nodded and said, "Nice meeting you!"
Then slowly, Abhinav introduced the brother-sister duo to the Royals. And then, suddenly, I noticed Aryan holding her saree pallu and walking behind her
"Mami sa", he again called her, and Augustus looked at Nandini
"Princess, what is he calling you?" Augustus looked confused, and Nandini looked helpless; the royals were controlling their laughter. Nandini looked at Aryan and then again at Augustus,
"Bhai...Ummm...Ranjiv will explain to you", the woman who shuts people with one glance, now standing speechless in front of a 5-year-old.

Hearing that Ranjiv choked on his breath. "Ah..Augustus...umm..actually..."
Augustus was so confused by the behaviour of his sister and Ranjiv that he looked at Abhinav and asked him to explain
Controlling his laugh, Abhinav managed to speak, "Augustus, mami sa means maternal uncle's wife". Hearing that Augustus almost lost his senses, he looked at Nandini
"WHAT!!!!!!!!!!"
"Bhai no, I didn't get married, I am not even dating, I don't know how, but he's been calling me mami sa and when I asked him why he is calling me that, I am looking beautiful, so I am his Mami sa", Nandini said in one breath, although her calm and unreadable personality and face never left her side.
Augustus felt relief, although he knew nothing was like that; however, the brother's instinct got the best of him.

Then the royals started giggling, not to forget that Shaurya was also smiling, hearing her confession of being single.
Jayraj spoke, "I am sorry for the misunderstanding caused. He's still a child, so he spoke up without thinking about anything."

"No, no, don't worry. I was just a bit confused & shocked hearing the explanation of the word, as I have never heard of that word," Augustus said.

Shaurya said, "Well, that's understandable. Taking this opportunity, I would like to invite you to our home tomorrow". Seeing Shaurya's interesting gaze, Ishwari also joined the conversation,
"Please, we would be very happy if you would visit our home & don't say no"

Augustus looked at Nandini, "Bhai, whatever you feel right, I don't mind as long as you are there"
"Sure, we will visit tomorrow then", Augustus said. After talking for some time, they all left the venue.
